remarkable giving

We live outward through generosity, service, and social advocacy. God entrusts us as stewards of people, time, and resources. We strive to value everyone, manage our time wisely, and generously support our church and community.

remarkable service

Remarkable service means everyone is serving someone somewhere. Service to the local church is one of the most enriching ways to equip, inspire, and encourage one another as disciples of Christ. We aim to guide you to a role that aligns with your passion, individuality, and schedule.

Every week, our volunteers dedicate their time to various tasks - from mentoring children and youth, welcoming guests, and managing media and production, to other crucial roles that breathe life into our ministry.

Where are you passionate to serve? Let's help you find your fit!

GET INVOLVED

remarkable generosity

Embracing remarkable generosity, we're committed to being exemplary stewards of our resources, channeling them not only toward the spiritual endeavors of our church but also in uplifting our community. With eyes and ears ever-attuned to the needs around us, we rise to every occasion to make a difference. And in instances where our path doesn't directly align with certain works, we rally behind those who are called to them, fueling their endeavors with our support.

  • The vision of St. Mark's Child Development Center [CDC] is to promote lifelong learners in an atmosphere of love and concern for each child as an individual in a safe and nurturing environment.  Our role as caregivers/teachers is to support parents by working with them in ways that will help each child become all that God has created him/her to be.

  • Benevolence

"Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the Law of Christ", (Galatians 6:2). The purpose of the Benevolence Ministry is to assist members of St. Mark with unexpected short-term financial needs that cannot otherwise be met.

  • social advocacy

For the church, social advocacy is an external pursuit and a divine mandate. The church, grounded in love, justice, and service teachings, has an inherent duty to stand with the oppressed and give voice to the voiceless. Engaging in social advocacy amplifies its commitment to Christ's teachings and embodies its role as a beacon of hope and justice in society.

  • Faith in Action has a unique role in building a larger movement for change. This contribution flows from our capacity to engage large numbers of people through trusted community institutions, speak prophetically about the moral dimensions of political choices, and bring people together across race, class, religion, urban/suburban/rural, and region to make progress on racial and economic justice.

  • Our goal is to provide our citizens access to the latest Madison County elections information – such as verifying your registration status, checking election results, and finding all our elected officials' contact information.
