Wednesday Bible Study
Bible Study offers the perfect opportunity to go deeper into God’s Word. Each week’s lesson is tied to Sunday’s sermon. The goal of Bible Study is to explain and expound on a particular scripture or topic. If you are wrestling with a biblical passage or have some unanswered questions, Bible study offers a time to interact with our Senior Pastor.
There are three entrances. At each entrance you will find greeters who desire to serve and direct you. Feel free to ask them any questions or to point out any concerns you may have. They will also make a guest card available to our first time guest so that we may properly thank you for visiting.
Our congregation generally reflects the age diversity of Huntsville. You will find young and older families, kids, singles, etc. Members come from all faith backgrounds and economic levels. The common denominator in our congregation is our desire to connect with God and one another.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
What about the kids?
It is very important to us that each individual has an opportunity to connect with God on their own personal level. Our Warrior ministry serves infants, babies and children up to the fifth grade. Ages 5 and below are divided in three classes and will learn songs and participate in activities pertaining to that month’s theme. Older elementary students gather for Warrior Church which places the word of God on a level for them to understand. If you are interested, please inform the greeters and they will direct you to Warrior check-in. These services are offered at all of our Worship services including Wednesday Night Bible Study.
What do I need to wear?
There is no dress code at St. Mark. You will find some members wearing suits and dresses while others choose a more casual attire. Our goal is for you to be comfortable.
What is your Worship Style?
Our style is blended traditional while being upbeat and lively. We focus on the Word of God and how it applies to our lives in today’s world. The theme and elements of our services are changed up frequently based on seasons and sermon series. Expect powerful preaching that is aimed at drawing the heart to God and applying God’s truth to our day to day experiences.
